Description
Gorgeous pink and grey rhodochrosite stone set into sterling and fine silver. Lovely ovals design with extra link to a pink tourmaline. The back of the pendant has been stamped with flowers.
Total length of pendant including bail is approximately 7 cm.
Rhodochrosite is a manganese carbonate material and is a national symbol of Argentina. It is rose pink in colour and is said t0 open the heart, lifting depression and encourage a positive and cheerful outlook. It is said to improve self worth and soothe emotional stress.
The name is derived from the combination of Greek words ροδόν (rodon, meaning rose) and χρωσις (chrosis, meaning colouring)
